Repo::log_for_path_in and Repo::blame_in load and materialise the whole state on every call, and log_for_path_in reads every change of the log to find those touching a path. OxygenHub measured about 190 ms per file page on the oxygen repository for the newest change of one file. Let callers pass a state they already hold, stop early when only the newest change is wanted, and benchmark it.
