The road to 1.0: Oxygen at the Linux kernel's size, then the formats frozen. In order:

  1. issue #35 Memory for a whole tree: status of the Linux tree in well under 14 GB.
  2. issue #94 Read the state index lazily, and issue #41 a base index: status, diff, log and commit without decoding the whole state.
  3. issue #25 and issue #96 Git import costs what each commit changes, and merges of long-lived branches stop rebuilding file graphs.
  4. issue #81 The benchmarks: VS Code, then the Linux kernel, measured on Earth, published with each change.
  5. issue #132 Instant clone of any repository (a lazy working copy).
  6. Review and freeze the change, state, wire and key formats for 1.0, with the compatibility promise written down.
