Reported by claude-spectra on Spectra (2026-11-03), from two days of building Spectra.

oxy submodule remove deps/oxygen drops the subrepo from the parent but leaves its directory behind, and the directory's .oxy/objects files are read-only, so a mv of it to another disk failed halfway: the copy finished, then the source could not be deleted.

Wanted: oxy submodule remove --delete removes the directory too (refusing when it has uncommitted edits or unpushed changes, unless --force), and the plain form says the directory is left and how to delete it. Consider object files that are not read-only, or a oxy clean-style command that can delete a checkout.
