Found by P5c. Done in #dfb23a3a8cfa: file graphs are shared between state clones and heads are tracked incrementally (5 000 vscode commits: 6.0 GB to 2.3 GB), and new NodeIds derive from the Git commit and path, so imports are deterministic (spec §23, Draft 0.8p).
