metalgear (2026-10-08) has remotes earth and gcs and no origin: bookmark list's ahead/behind come back empty (default_remote() is origin or the only remote), so a develop behind earth/develop looks fine. Andy fetched, set develop by hand and checked out to catch up. Wanted: compare a bookmark with the remote it was last fetched or pushed from (or show each remote that has it), and let pull/push default to that remote with several configured.
