Closing an issue (by hand, or with closes #N in a pushed change) leaves its card in Backlog or Doing; tonight five closed issues sat in Backlog on board issue #3 until moved by hand. Let a board say what closing does: move the card to a chosen column (Done by default for a new board), as GitHub's project workflows do, and the same for a landed or closed proposal.
