CI on OxygenFlow: fmt, clippy, test and build on every push issue #2 closed: completed andymccall opened this · 1 comment

Every push runs fmt, clippy, test and build on OxygenFlow, as Oxygen's does: .flow/pipeline.kdl and .flow/warm-target.sh copied from oxygen with the names changed; test runs nextest under llvm-cov and publishes the JUnit and coverage artifacts the hub shows; riscv64 and dist left out for now.

Flow jobs have no network and build from a pinned image with every crate vendored (oxygenflow images/rust/README.md). issue #1 keeps Spectra to crates already vendored there, and a make deps-check target compares Spectra's Cargo.lock with the union of the three projects' lockfiles. If anything is missing, the image needs Spectra's workspace added to what images/rust/build.sh vendors, a rebuild, flow rootfs import on Earth, and the new hash pinned here.

Turn Flow on under the repository's Settings › Pipelines.

Done when a push to main shows four green checks on the hub, with test results and coverage. After issue #1.

Done in 895ce1ef: .flow/pipeline.kdl in Oxygen's shape (fmt on Spectra's own packages, clippy -D warnings, test under nextest and llvm-cov with JUnit and coverage, release build with the binary as an artifact). No image rebuild was needed: make deps-check confirms all 212 crates in Cargo.lock are vendored in the current rust image. Run issue #1 passed all four jobs. Flow was already on for this repository through the site default.
