omsxctl -- execute openMSX commands from within an MSX program |
| 2 |
|
| 3 |
This is a combination of a Tcl script and a MSX-DOS utility. It allows to |
| 4 |
execute arbitrary openMSX console commands from within the MSX. |
| 5 |
|
| 6 |
Files: |
| 7 |
omsxctl.tcl The Tcl script. |
| 8 |
omsxctl.com The MSX-DOS utility. |
| 9 |
omsxctl.z80 The source code for the above utility (Z80 assembly code). |
| 10 |
|
| 11 |
The use this, pass the script on the openMSX command line: |
| 12 |
openmsx -script <path-to>/omsxctl.tcl |
| 13 |
And then in MSX-DOS execute something like: |
| 14 |
omsxctl set save-settings_on_exit false |
| 15 |
omsxctl set throttle off |
| 16 |
omsxctl after time 10 "exit 1" |
| 17 |
... |
| 18 |
omsxctl exit |
| 19 |
|
| 20 |
Check the script and utility source code more (technical) details. |
| 21 |
|
| 22 |
You can use this script/utility as-is. But as always, feel free to extend it |
| 23 |
for your specific needs. E.g. you might want to integrate this directly in |
| 24 |
your MSX program instead of using the omsxctl.com utility. |
