PKGBUILD file for building an openMSX package for archlinux/i686, contributed |
| 2 |
by Theo Smit <[email protected]>. |
| 3 |
|
| 4 |
This PKGBUILD was only tested on i686 (32-bit), if you want to build for an |
| 5 |
x86_64 machine you can try to modify the PKGBUILD accordingly. If you're lucky |
| 6 |
you only have to modify the "arch=" line. |
| 7 |
|
| 8 |
Usage: |
| 9 |
- Create a temporary working directory and go there: |
| 10 |
$ mkdir /tmp/build-openmsx |
| 11 |
$ cd /tmp/build-openmsx |
| 12 |
- Copy the PKGBUILD file there: |
| 13 |
$ cp path/to/PKGBUILD . |
| 14 |
- Run the "makepkg" tool: |
| 15 |
$ makepkg |
| 16 |
This will download the sources for openMSX 0.6.2, verify the dependencies, |
| 17 |
compile openMSX, install it in the temporary directory and archive that |
| 18 |
installation into a binary openMSX package. |
| 19 |
- Install the binary package with the standard Arch package manager: |
| 20 |
$ pacman -A openmsx-0.6.2-1-i686.pkg.tar.gz |
| 21 |
- Now you can start openMSX: |
| 22 |
$ /opt/openMSX/bin/openmsx |
| 23 |
|
| 24 |
Please read the documentation in /opt/openMSX/doc/manual to learn more about |
| 25 |
openMSX, for example how to install additional system ROMs. |
